A third-quarter fightback by Port Adelaide set the stage for a stunning late show that saw them claim Showdown honours by nine points.
Adelaide had no answer to the Power onslaught, going down 17.16 (118) to 16.13 (109).
Travis Boak was adjudged best on ground with 30 disposals; a figure that was matched by Kane Cornes while Justin Westhoff booted four goals.
Adelaide led by five goals mid-way through the third term before the Power put their foot down and drew level at the siren before running away with a solid victory.
A Patrick Dangerfield goal on the siren brought the margin into single digits which was arguably flattering for the Crows.
Port Adelaide now sits 3-0 and travels to the Gold Coast next week while the 1-2 Crows host the Western Bulldogs.
