THE Brumbies have confirmed their status as Super Rugby contenders, thumping the defending champion Chiefs 41-23 at Canberra Stadium.
Wallabies star Matt Toomua and Tevita Kuridrani both scored twice as the Brumbies also grabbed a four-try bonus point to put the pain of last year's grand final defeat to the Chiefs behind them.
