THE Blues produced their best performance of the season to date to inflict more pain on Queensland Reds in a 44-14 victory at Eden Park.
The 30-point hammering is set to increase the pressure on embattled Reds coach Richard Graham with his side now well and truly out of contention for the semi-finals.
Ma'a Nonu was the star for the Blues, having a hand in each of their first three tries before he was given a deserved early shower.
In further bad news for the Reds prop James Slipper could find himself in front of a SANZAR judiciary after he was given a yellow card for a dangerous throw.
